to feel = to undergo the experience of; to have compassion or sympathy; Intuitive awareness or natural ability

So obviously you can actually know something w/o having any kind of feelings involve. Like money, for example. It's a given that we have to save. It's a given that it's something that shouldn't be fought abt by all couples, though sometimes shit happens. Between the two, one tends to splurge more and the word 'saving' could be almost near to non-existent in his/her vocabulary, despite of the fact that deep inside, he/she already knows that it is a must-do. So in the end, if all ends well, a compromise will be made between the two for being sensitive to each other's feelings about the situation. Otherwise it'll end up as a shitty fight.
To know something is like putting facts on the table, or knowing how to do something. These thoughts can be addressed w/o any feelings involved, simply because it's already a given. Otherwise they maybe addressed differently depending on the situation itself, as it may require openness and being sensitive to the other party's thoughts. To feel something doesn't only come thru touching or the other major sense organs but it comes from w/in.
